About Dena

A 23-year veteran in the housing industry, Dena Kouremetis worked for and with homebuilders in the western U.S before her passion for the industry led to journalistic expression. She began writing consumer articles for newspapers, magazines and web sites in 1997. She has expanded her writing to mid-life women’s issues and is now the LadyBoomer Examiner for Examiner.com in addition to their National Housing Examiner.

Kouremetis is the author/consultant for four real estate books, including The Homebuyer’s Kit ; The Homesellers’ Kit, and Everyone’s Money Book on Real Estate (Dearborn Trade Press), and scripted a ten-chapter PodCast for iNest.com, Uncharted Waters: Navigating the Purchase of a New Production Home.   Over the years, she has furnished content and done home product reviews for real estate related web sites such as Inman News Features, Move.com, NewHomeSource.com, iNest.com and RealtyTimes.com.  She has also been interviewed on various radio shows all over the U.S. for her consumer-interest insights into the world of home construction.
